Why would anyone believe in a god or afterlife?

I mean there is no evidence of a god or afterlife.

If you think NDEs are proof of the afterlife, I'm gonna call you ridiculous, because all they are are the chemicals going through your head making you Hallucinate.

And you might say people come back to life is proof. Um yeah people are just wrongly proven dead in all reality they are alive. Like being buried alive, yeah it's not just a Jesus thing.

And if you you say that a book made by middle eastern cavemen is proof, i'm also going to call you ridiculous because you might as well follow Lord of the rings.

What I'm saying is that there is no proof of god or a afterlife, so live life to the fullest. Be who you are whether you're LGBT, gothic, rocker, painter, furry, whatever. Just live your life.

Because this is the only life we get.

Now I'm not saying there isn't a god or afterlife because we as humans don't know, but why let that effect your life.

Just enjoy it while you have it because tomorrow you might not wake up.

There is something rather than nothing (contingency argument), the universe had a beginning (cosmological argument), design is here (teleological argument), beauty is here (aesthetical argument), morality is here (moral argument), the widespread belief in deity is here (intuitional argument), etc.—what is their adequate preceding cause? Many people believe these point to God.

I would look up those arguments and watch some of the debates with Dr. William Lane Craig, Dr. John Lennox, and Dr. Stephen Meyer.

LUKE 16 proves HE knew about life after death.

How do you know NDEs are just chemicals, etc. aside from the fact that you really desire that to be true?

The witness of hundreds of thousands of Xtians is compelling evidence.  Many Xtians over the centuries opt for death rather turning away from their faith.  Obviously there would seem to be a real possibility that they might be on to something.

However, if you would rather not believe, I for one am not going to harass you about it.  See what I did there?
