Are we suppose to let every foreigner come to the U.S.?
If we allow all foreigners from poverty-stricken and war-torn countries come to the U.S., what will be left for Americans in terms of jobs and housing.
If the American government allows many foreigners to come here because their country is poor or war-torn, will there be anybody left in those countries? Perhaps us private American citizens should move overseas because of all the free land that will be available once they all come to the U.S.

ANY immigrant has a right to move to the U.S. as long as they aren't a criminal and INTEND on becoming a LEGAL U.S. citizen. The better question is, is there enough ROOM for all the immigrants who want to move to the U.S.?

Obama says yes. Democrats like it because more impoverished immigrants = more Democratic voters. Some Republicans go along with that because more impoverished immigrants = more cheap labor to exploit.

That is a weak mantra carried on by the Left. All there looking for is
more minorities to try and contain and control.

If foreigners come to the U.S., then there will be more for Americans in terms of jobs and housing.
Foreigners build more housing in the U.S. than they use, so there will be more housing left if they come.
Most employers won't hire anyone in a country where they can't hire foreigners. If employers can't hire foreigners in the U.S., then the employers will move to another country or simply close; either way, the Americans working for them now will lose their jobs. If we don't let foreigners come, then there will be no jobs left for Americans. To keep any jobs for Americans, we need to keep employers open in the U.S., and that means we need foreigners.

We have an entire department that controls that according to laws we've had for over a hundred years. No, not every foreigner can come to the US, Not even for a visit, or a work visa, or a educational visa. I don't know why Republicans seem to think that vetting or procedures aren't in place now, because they are. Trump didn't invent them.
