how long were you together before getting married?

A year, but we were friends for 7 years prior to that so we knew each other very well. I would say you have to know someone for at least 5 years before getting married.

We dated for a year, then moved

in together for around three, and

now into our 38th year married.

Been together 21 years. Still not married.

I met my wife in April, had our first date in June, became engaged in September then married in December of that same year. That was 50 years ago and we're on our way to forever.

10 years, although we never lived together until we got married and moved in to our new home!
