Is playing Guitar easier than Bass?
Before, I was struggling to play Guitar so I though to play Bass instead because I assumed it was easier. I didn't have to focus too much on chords on bass so I continued playing it. I wanted to do some more advance techniques but couldn't quite do it. Eventually, I just gave up for a bit and decided to try out Guitar again. All of a sudden, I can play guitar WAY better than I did with Bass.

The technical aspect to bass is easier than guitar but many of the skills are the same. Learning to play the bass has now given you a better frame of reference to approach guitar.
You now are familiar with the fretboard for the bottom 4 strings, and since the high E is the same notes as the low E, you really know 5 out of 6 strings. You understand some of the fundamentals of music, and the technique involved in fretting and plucking strings. This allows you to focus on the differences...like chords and strumming.
When you look at it that way, it's not hard to see why guitar is coming along much easier than the first time you tried it.
