A chicken with one wing will/ or will not ever lay eggs again?
My chicken was attacked by a dog. Soon after she lost her wing and all her chicken friends and has only one wing left now. She runs around (free range) and will come up to us while outside. I believe she HAPPY. She is the last one left. All alone! She no longer lays eggs. Will she ever! Does she need more chickens around her to lay!
Her name is solo!

The fact she's missing a wing won't affect anything in regards to her egg-laying (besides initially after the attack - the stress/shock). Chickens are flock animals, so she really does need a couple other chickens around her so she isn't lonely. I would get a few friends with her.

She's a production layer, after their second year they slack off laying, if she's over 3 she might lay 3 or 4 eggs a week. She also might be hiding them somewhere. If you have shorter days due to winter then the lack of light will stop her lay until spring. Missing a wing has no affect on her laying.
