Will pepper seeds taken from store bought red green peppers germinate ?

    I am not so sure about Tex answer. I would dry the seeds and give it a try. what will it cost you $0.

    Some plant produce there fruit with out being pollinated but the seeds will be infertile. But organic means they are natural and probably be fertile.

    One thing, while I am not a gardening expert, I do know that some seeds have to winter over to germinate. I have heard of folks putting their seeds in the home freezer for a couple of weeks.

    Natures way to keep them from germinating to soon.

    If the vegetable is organic, yes. If the vegetable is not organic, no. Non organic vegetable are treated with chemicals so they don't reproduce. A plant might grow, but it will not produce veggies as its been sterilized.
