When a diverging lens is held 12.5 cm above a line of print, as in Figure below, the image is 7.2 cm beneath the lens. (a) Is the image real or virtual? (b) What is the focal length of the lens?

1/f = 1/di + 1/do = 1/(-7.2) + 1/12.5 = 0.0589
f = 17.0 cm
