Can an 18-year-old who is turning 19 soon date someone who just turned 17?
One of my friends has been 18 years old for the past 10 months and she has a crush on someone who just turned 17 years old about two months ago and she feels like that makes her a creep so I want to help her get some clarification on if it s okay or not. Since I m the same age as her down to the month, I can t really be sure either. I know it s okay if the age difference is just a year but this is a year and eight months so it s almost 2 years and the whole age group of 18 and 19 is just confusing in general since they re both teen AND adult years. All these myths around there are no laws regarding dating so yes its ok to date all the laws are about sex and even that may legal depending on where you live check it out the distinction between minor and adult is very blurry
