Is today's blizzard in the North East being caused by global warming?

No it is not, but...

Climate change is the culprit behind the bizarre changes in temperature in a particular season.

Winter temps (in the North East) have ranged from 5 degrees to 65 degrees.

"Global Warming" is an incorrect term. The world has never had a set temperature, it rises and falls over extreme periods of time.

A lot of what we experience with this bizarre weather is due to the imbalance of carbon emissions in the atmosphere.

You can't attribute any single weather event to climate change directly, nor can you say that it wasn't caused by climate change. But as the amount of severe weather increases, more of them will be down to climate change. Everything is caused by global warming, don't you know. If the Earth froze solid it would be due to global warming. I wouldn't be surprised to find that The Big Bang was caused by Global Warming and so was the TV show by almost the same name.
