What is the best way to clean up bird poop?

I have a bird that has a bit of a problem with explosive poop(power... poop). It is everywhere and I have to clean it up at some point. I just need some advice on how to clean it up. I love my pets I have cockatiels and a dog. We like our pets to be happy and healthy.

    Keep the bird in a cage to contain the poop. Change the paper on the bottom of the cage daily. If this bird is a fruit eater, enclose the bottom part of the cage to control the poop better.
