  • Is it appropriate to always approach random people.?

My bf thinks that I am rude for not approaching random people I don't know. I think that it is not always the best thing considering that I don't know how strangers may take that. He goes up to people's cars but I am always afraid that the other person will not respond well to that. I also tried to get him to consider that approaching complete strangers is not always the best thing for any woman.

  • Is it ok for a 36 year old to give up on relationships?

When you have dated people and it doesn't work out. I'm dealing with the idea that I may never get married or have children. I'm not happy about it but I cannot afford anymore heartbreak. Maybe it's time to just be single for the rest of my life.

I'm not talking about the falafel chips. Just the stuff that looks a little bit like guacamole.

  • Why do some girls like to bring break up couples?

It seems like every time I go to work, some girls who live in my building have been showing up at my work and following me around. Then they managed to manipulate my bf into thinking that I was crazy and he called 911 to have me mentally evacuated at the hospital. I think they were trying to hook up with him and didn't know what to do about me. These kinds of girls are road blocks in people's lives and I have zero tolerance for this kind of behavior. How to avoid these kinds of people.

  • Do I need to provide documentation for a therapeutic pet if I say that my birds are therapeutic or conducive to my education?

I have a pair of Cockatiels and I am planning to return to college after a period of time. I can bring a pet if it is therapy for me to have them. But not sure if I have to have paperwork on them or not. They are rescue birds too.

  • Why can't I be nice to this guy? Why do I feel I have to push him away when he is only trying to do kind to me?

I met this guy when I was stranded at a bus station, he was nice enough to offer me his blanket to keep warm in, and even offered me his truck to sleep in if I wanted to. I took the blanket but refused the truck because I didn't know him. We are both homeless, he was not doing well at the shelter he had been staying at so I offered to show him the shelter I was going to. He wants a relationship, but. I am not really interested in one, as I am not in a good place in my life. I am a mess and need to focus on getting on the right track. I offered to take him to the shelter I stay at in order to help him like he helped me.

I have not been very patient with him and I know it hurts him. I feel bad. I think I get like this because at every turn, I feel like I have to be one step ahead of him, he smokes, and I don't . He gets mad everytime I ask him to roll down the window in the car. When I want to take an hour nap I cant get an hour in without an interruption. I feel like I cant get any space for at least an hour or two to take care things I need to get done. Its hard enough as it is being homeless. What can I do? I don't mean to lash out at him. I'm just very tired, I am also trying hold down a job and its hard to sleep in a shelter when you're around people you don't know.

  • Why should I put up with this man's careless attitude?

Im dating this guy who thinks that hes got the whole world figured out....Im homeless right now and so is he, he gets social security and I work to get my income, its not much, but I need to keep this job. He doesnt like it because I get such little pay as a cashier, but Ive explained to him that its not my lifetime career that I was doing to get back to college and finish my degree, he told That I dont need it and to put my plans aside. Another thing is he seems to have an attitude about my appearance. Okay, Im doing what I can to stay healthy and be a clean person even though I am homeless, I see customers all day, and even though I work part time I feel that my health and hygiene take precendence, and it helps me to keep up the pace. When I told him this he told me, theres the door, because he doesnt like me being proud and being stubborn. It doesnt matter either when I try to work with him on ii. I am taking one day at a time to get out of being homeless.

  • What should I look out for when it comes to this guy?

I met a guy recently whose situation with homelessness is like mine. He gets SSI and I have a job, at first when he suggested that we partner up and help each other out I thought that it would be okay. He wants to find us a place to live but Im starting to see some pit falls he says he is falling madly in love with me, and wants to make love to me, I feel like it will be something he wants all the time, because now he asks why I dont always give it up. I want to get back into college and finish up my classes soon, but he keeps talking to me about paying for things with money I dont have right now. I refuse to clear out my savings account for anything right now. He also keeps telling me to forget about school and live on section 8, I dont want to be on section 8 the rest of my life.

    What should I do.

  • Is having a period a reason to call out sick?

I think it is a ridiculous excuse to call off. To me if you're not throwing up or sneezing everywhere you are not sick and are perfectly capable of going to work.

This lady I work with is being a big baby, I told her to take advil and get her *** into work. A period is no big deal, every woman gets them and its a fact of life....I mean really...? how bad can a period get? I also didn't feel like staying any extra time because of her.

  • Why do people pass judgement on me marrying a guy from Jordan?

Almost two and a half years ago I met a guy from Jordan at my college, and a few months later we got married, yes it was rather fast and we had nothing but our friendship, and a little money. But we wanted to support each other through the rest of our days in college. It was hard at first but we are beginning to understand each others culture more and more. We do love each other and want more with each other. We had a very hard time at first because we were not financially stable enough to start a family, and we had a lot of work to do, but he has wanted children with me now and asks about it, but the deal was we needed to build our marriage, understand each other, and we need to be making our own money. We are now working and making our own money. I don't know why people pass judgement on us so much, yes I know where he is from, but he's just a person like me and we were students when we met. Its a challenging marriage, but its unique, We actually want to have a child in the near future.

  • People who rent in a rooming house shouldn't pay their rent by working in a job.?

There is this woman that lives on the same floor as I do in a rooming for people who are struggling. She is always gone, and when I asked my friends who are her neighbors if they ever see her, they say no, or that she leaves at 6:30 am and doesn't return until 10pm sometimes. Apparently she works two jobs, I feel that she is in the place if she is working two jobs, most people including myself don't work, and we have people paying our rent for us. She needs to get with the program and pay her rent the right way. Or move out since she can't live the way that we do.

  • Why do some people think that a rooming house should only house people on parole, or crack pots, or prostitutes?

I'm living in a rooming house, its not comfortable, in fact I hate it a lot of the time, but I was just starting out on my own, with a a new job and hadn't yet gained my hours like I have now. I understood at the time of moving in, that this was a roof over my head while I worked my way upward and out of here.I get a lot of strange looks from the people who live here because sometimes I leave for work during the day and don't return until 11 pm. Why do they concern themselves with my whereabouts? I the girls who live here use guys to get their rent paid, they have come to my door offering "services" they get mad when I say no and don't ever come knocking on my door for something like that....they want to know how I get my rent paid, is it my right to tell them its none of their business, or do I say that I ork a real job, earn honest money and my rent is paid for in an honest and clean way.

  • When a person lives in a housing facility. are the residents supposed to do the housekeeping and maintenance?

I mean other than cleaning up after yourself, should you be the only residdent responsible for cleaning the bathrooms everyday? I'm talking about one of these rooming houses where struggling people live. Unless you have no income and are unable to pay your rent, I work two jobs so the money I work my butt off for to pay my rent is coming from honestly working a job. most of the residents can't work, or don't have employment. When I paid my rent today the manager made a comment to me that I seem a little more relaxed than when I first moved in there, and explained to him that I've been working two jobs, how does that seem relaxed. So he told me that I need to clean the bathroom and asked me if I could use my cleaning supplies. I told him that he should provide that, my cleaning supplies are for my room and not the entire facility. Also why am I the only one doing this and no one else who lives there, especially since I work a full time and part-time job. Why isn't housekeeping keeping on top of it? There's no cleaning schedule for residents to clean the bathrooms. Should I say something to the housing authority?

  • Is it appropriate for my boyfriend to be pushing me everyday to fix my situation, knowing that I don't have the money yet?

My boyfriend is a nice guy and has a heart, and he wants to help me fix my situation so bad.

For the past two years I have been in a homeless situation due to the lack of jobs/income and its been really hard finding jobs and keeping them. I was a full-time student going to a university out of state but when the tuition fees became to hard to handle and I was financial unstable. I had to stop everything and go find work so that I could one pay off the tuition fees, 2 have a job lined up after getting out of school, and 3 get back into the work force. This became a lot harder than I thought and longer. I had been sleeping on friends couches, and on food stamps. This year I decided that it was time to get a little more aggressive and I went back to work part-time mainly so that I could start buying my own food and mostly survive. The hours at my work became more and it enabled me to get a room (which is not great) which gives me my own space, and I have stopped sleeping on friends couches. The rooming thing is not forever but a roof over my head while things continue to improve and my credit is not good either. I am starting work full-time soon and once the money starts rolling in along with the money I receive my other job I plan to get into a studio apartment.

My boyfriend, who is a new guy in my life is being kind of pushy, I know that its partly because he feels bad for me. But there's nothing I can do until I start my new full-time job.
