Where does the money from the Verrazano bridge go? The city or the state?

    Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Not the Port Authority as some others have suggested.

    More accurately a subsidiary of the MTA called the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority. The bride spands Staten Island and Brooklyn and the Port Authority of NY and NJ is not associated with that bridge.

    It goes to the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority, doing business as MTA Bridges and Tunnels, an affiliate agency of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
