I want to make contact with extra-terrestials. How do I go about accomplishing this?

If you are going to communicate, it will have to be sent on a very narrow beam, and that means any life form out there to hear it has to be along that beam, or it will not be able to hear the message. If there life with the technology to pick up such a signal, it may be hundreds or thousands of light years away, and that's how long the signal will take to get there. Then it has to be translated so they can understand it, a return message put together, and that message sent back, again taking hundreds or thousands of years to reach us. in that time, everyone that was working on sending that message will be dead, and any knowledge of the project will be lost, like how they build the pyramids has been lost over time. So the signal shows up, no one here knows that they are supposed to be listening for it, and it goes undetected.

Extra-terrestrial life likely does not exist. If it does, it is certainly not intelligent. The odds of the environment suitable to life developing and the biological odds developing are a essentially a statistical impossibility. This is what makes the fine-tuning argument for God's existence so powerful (will post link to a video). Here if you need prayer or someone to talk to.
