Can I Sue?
I was working for a property management company and living in one of the properties. I found 7 mice in my apartment from October 2015 to January 2016. they said they came in and filled holes and put down sticky traps but they kept coming. I asked them was there somewhere they could move me temporarily so I could get sleep until they found all of the holes and they said they couldn't treat me differently because I was an employee. I called the city health inspectors who told me not to use my stove or oven as I could be heating the feces which produce bacteria and kill my dog. my dog developed something called resources guarding and I almost have to put his food down and run or he'll bite me, since he watched the mice eat his food. I didn't eat in my kitchen for 3 months and they ate through everything but the canned goods. When I left, all I asked for was to be reimbursed for all the food I lost and I was told no. Now that I'm leaving the company, do I have a case to sue?

You can sue, but you will not win. Your renters insurance would cover your food loss.

7 mice over 4 months? That isn't even serious enough to report to the management company. You can sue, but you can't win.

Sue for what? MICE? I catch a couple a week in my MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR property. Heating fecal material from ANY animal will KILL THE BACTERIA and render any matter inert. Your dog seeing mice will NOT change its behavior. You are CLEARLY NUTS and a TROLL.

Try taking them to small claims court if that's all you are after. idk why you chose to stay in the unit when it was overrun with vermin. The is usually reason enough to legally break a lease assuming it was not due to gross lack of upkeep/sanitation on your end.
