  • Can I Sue?

I was working for a property management company and living in one of the properties. I found 7 mice in my apartment from October 2015 to January 2016. they said they came in and filled holes and put down sticky traps but they kept coming. I asked them was there somewhere they could move me temporarily so I could get sleep until they found all of the holes and they said they couldn't treat me differently because I was an employee. I called the city health inspectors who told me not to use my stove or oven as I could be heating the feces which produce bacteria and kill my dog. my dog developed something called resources guarding and I almost have to put his food down and run or he'll bite me, since he watched the mice eat his food. I didn't eat in my kitchen for 3 months and they ate through everything but the canned goods. When I left, all I asked for was to be reimbursed for all the food I lost and I was told no. Now that I'm leaving the company, do I have a case to sue?

  • Sell everything or not?

I'm moving cross-country and I've researching prices to see how much it would be to move everything I own vs. selling everything and starting over. To haul my things, I'll spend roughly $1200-1500. Not to mention that I'll probably be moving from a 2bd to a studio apt. where I'm going. Please help!

  • Anybody ever used roomates.com? If so, how was your experience?

I'm thinking of moving to the DC area in the next year and I don't think I can afford a place in the city on my salary alone. I signed up on roommates.com and I'm wondering if anyone had used this site. Please give feedback. Thanks!

  • What part of DC should I call home?

I am moving to the DMV area summer of 2015. I have no clue of the safer/safest places to move. I am a single woman with a small dog and I want to make sure that I'm in close proximity to the art and music culture of DC, but also make sure I'm safe and my rent is attainable. I am going to visit as much as possible in the next few months, but if you can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
