If a dead body is submerged in a liquid, will the liquid get into the lungs?

I would google this but I m afraid of getting pictures and I m very squeamish. Even though the dead body isn t breathing, would some liquid still get into the lungs? It s for something I m writing, I swear.

Apparently not. That is how they determine whether the person was dead or alive when they fell in the water. . If the person is not breathing or pulling air (water) into the lungs...there would be none there.
