How much credit score do you need to rent an apartment?
I am trying to rent an apartment next month and I've been looking at online for a while now. It says I would need credit score of 620+ and source of income to rent an apartment. But how long does credit score needs to be 620+ to rent an apartment? I currently have credit score range between 680 to 720 depends on company(fico, transunion) but my credit score was ruined for 6 months or something last year due to some work issues(It was 572 lowest and it took me 6 months or something to recover and my credit score has been 670+ for past 6 months). I am moving to Georgia and I already got hired(around 45k an year). Do these incomes count too if I just got hired at that state?

The screening company I use doesn't even show any past scores just current. Don't think any service shows past scores. Some landlords will take a letter of intent to hire for the job you have not started yet but some will not. You really have to ask each individual landlord.

It's your current score that counts. Some places, not all, will include the income on a job you haven't started yet if you have an offer letter to show them.

you would need to ask the question to the owners/landlords of the apartment complexes you are interested in.....................it may vary w/one owner to another
