Is audacity safe to download from this scource?

I would be downloading it from www.audacityteam.org/. I wanted to use it to make epic meme remixes but since it's open scource I wanted to make sure it won't give me a virus.

    I have it downloaded on my old computer and haven't had an issue with it. I do have Norton antivirus software on that computer though.
