Do you believe in the power of prayer?
I pray for goodness and favor not only for myself but for my loved ones and those who cause me grief. I believe prayer is very powerful and everyone is deserving of a prayer.

Absolutely, yes! Prayer is my lifeline.
Philippians 4: 6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Yes, prayer in the name of Jesus Christ is very powerful. Just as taught in the bible, it can move mountains.

Absolutely, yes! The Lord works in unison with believers to get others born again. He values our prayers, especially when we read and study the Bible to learn correct prayer. I have prayed John 20: 22 & 23 in my private prayer time to get many saved, but there is a precondition. We must receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit to qualify to use this prayer (verse 22). It is a free gift available to all Christians.

Yes. Not only does it have power, it's a privilege.
Psalms 145:18 says: " Jehovah is near to all who call on him in truth."
1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence we have toward him, that no matter what we ask according to his will, he hears us.
When we talk to God we can be specific, express our innermost thoughts and concerns. Praying helps us to grow closer to God. Also, we don't want to pray selfishly only asking God for something. We want to give thanks for all he has done and will do for us. We want to always include others, we all are under some struggle or some temptation. As long as our prayers are in harmony with his will and purpose, is sincere, and from the heart, we can have full confidence that he hears us. How he answers, can come in many forms.

Your belief in something doesn't make that something real. How can you believe in the power of prayer when it has been proved that praying does absolutely nothing at all? I mean, how can you still believe something when it has been proved wrong??

Nothing fails like prayer, DeeAnna. Nothing.

Nope. I'm not a christian, or a Muslim, or whatever so when I pray, I just call out to "whoever's out there". No response. Never worked for me.
