Do You agree with what the Bible teaches About Spiritism?

Deuteronomy 18:10-13 states: “There should not be found in you . . . anyone who employs divination, anyone practicing magic, anyone who looks for omens, a sorcerer, anyone binding others with a spell, anyone who consults a spirit medium or a fortune-teller, or anyone who inquires of the dead.” Why not? The scripture further states: “Whoever does these things is detestable to Jehovah . . . You should prove yourself blameless before Jehovah your God.”

Yes I do and the scripture you mentioned is very direct. Of course, the general population is fascinated with the " supernatural". We know that by all the movies that are out on the subject. It's NOT harmless fun as some think! This is why it says "those who had practiced supernatural methods brought their books together and burned them up", even though the cost of them was significant. Acts 19:19. In the world now more than ever before, the wicked angels or demons are blinding people from the truth. 2 Corinthians 4:4

A person can better know the true meanings of stories from the Bible by meditating on them while reciting Hail Marys carefully.

sorry ? 'what the bible teaches' ? well that's open to some serious debate isn't it ? the bible 'teaches' a lot of things, some of them quite frankly absurd and ridiculous.

as for your reliance on the made-up and certainly non-historical interpolation 'jehovah' that tells me you have a certain notion of who or what 'God' is and I don't share it.

since you're quoting from Deuteronomy you will also be aware that there are countless other examples of Mosaic law wanting to eliminate any rival spiritual beliefs and practices,or you would be if you'd read it in context and from a good and reliable translation supported by academic and scholarly research.

oh and the word 'spiritism' is misleading, what exactly do you mean ?.

what exactly are you trying to attatch this obscure piece of literature to and for what reasons ?.

When people start acting like the particular piece of the Laws of Moses are the only way to live I stop listening, because they clearly miss the point of the Law. I'm a Christian, saved by grace through faith apart from the Law. Jesus fulfilled the Law and since I trust him for it, I have peace with God.

Do you know the difference between spiritualism and spiritism. It is the spelling that matters.

I agree with everything the Holy Bible says, since it is God's Word.
