what's the difference between a 78-3 battery and a 75 battery?

I have 2002 gmc envoy im trying to purchase a Power value battery from Walmart the don't have the 78 case size I normally use wondering if it matters if I can use the 75 with a little cold cracking amps

    Group 75 is just a bit smaller than a group 78. First, make sure your hold down will secure the smaller unit, then make sure the smaller has the same (or more) CCA's as your old battery.

    the differences will be in the # of CCA, the terminal positions, and maybe the size of the battery
