I heard my father say "Nuff Said" as if it meant something to him. Where does this come from?

I remember that Stan Lee used to use it in the captions of some Marvel comics back in the late 60's.

It is just a very old expression used by many of us ! Enough said !!! That means okay I get it, move on.

It just means enough said. He has heard enough of whatever was being discussed or a response to a comment that he doesn't really agree with but will accept it.
