Overwatch questions?

1. skill has nothing to do with the game being out for a extensive amount of time. skill has to do with people practicing, knowing the in's and outs of characters and how to combo them, learning multiple characters and being good at them rather then playing just a single one, knowing maps, knowing which combo's are OP at which maps or which characters are currently fotm ( flavor of the month ). you think there is no fotm in this game you're wrong. there are fotm's but that doesn't mean you can't counter it. you also need a LOT of team work and communication mostly voice communication as well as good team mates. you can't be playing with scrubs who only play casually and expect to get high ranking.

this games concept has been out for a LONG time there is no excuse to really not know how to be decent at this type of game even at the start. even if you didn't play tf2 there are still shooters out there with similar jobs like CoD or BF or whatever to practice on.

2. yes the events will come back and most likely they will come back with the old skins and probably new ones as well. i've played WoW for 6 years the yearly events like halloween, christmas, etc.. all have the same exact items and new ones too from previous years or similar items ( if similar usually it's nothing amazing like a toy when your bored or to show off with ) but VERY rarely do they have events that the items only come once in a life time such as anniversaries so if you miss out on them to bad. but with this game im sure it will either come back with the old skins and with new ones or they will just have newer skins.

3. no seasons never go backwards. seasons always go forward. the only time a season reverts back to season one is when the season has a different name. such as in WoW in each expansion they give the seasons a different name say in Warlords of draenor it was called idk "warlords season 1 then 2 then 3, etc.." now in legion it is called idk "legion season 1,2,3,4,etc.." these names are made up but thats how they typically are.

it usually does not matter your ranking for seasons unless your planning to team up with pugs ( pick up groups or random people) then they will care but honestly even with pugs people with high ratings from previous seasons are not always good in the current season due to changes. but thats only thing people look at rank wise. most high ranked players in WoW have a static group they run games with so they don't need to boast about last seasons rankings to find pugs.

4. i don't play anymore i played when it came out then as usual get bored. im not a huge fan of shooters im more of an mmorpg person. the game was fun but seriously lacked content when released.

1. I wouldn't say there are tons of better players. There are better players, but its gone on sale a few time since so there are a lot of new players too.

2. Unknown. I don't think its likely. If the events do return, they might have completely different skins. Most of Blizzard's unique items (event items from WoW or card backs from Hearthstone) are one-shot items that ever only come up once.

3. No, they will keep moving up seasons.

1. No, there are a lot more better players than before, but for the most part, skill levels are about the same as they've always been.

2. Most likely, but since an event hasn't returned yet, it's not completely certain.

3. They'll just keep moving up seasons, they won't go back to season 1, they have no reason to.

4. No, I only play with people I know, if I don't know you in real life, I won't accept any friend or party requests.
