They weasel their way into a simple majority . They would have NEVER allowed Obama and the Reid Senate to go nuclear. It's petty that our leaders can't see eye to eye on anything.

It is Harry Reid's legacy. He changed the rules in 2013 to override several Republican filibusters over Federal Judges in DC and at the time Republicans warned him that turnabout was fair play, that they would also use it when they regained control of the Senate. Democrats had no problem using it when they controlled the Senate and set a precedent. It has severely reduced the power of the minority party in the Senate, but they were warned.

It means partisanship in America is about to get a WHOLE LOT WORSE.
