legalities of primitive camping in Oklahoma?

I am planning a camping trip, I know of places that allow it, but can one go to jail for primitive camping provided they are on public land, do not break any laws such as hunting or fishing without a license, follow all burn bans. what legal laws in Oklahoma could you go to jail for if you primitive camp without a reservation on public land? if its public land trespassing isn t applicable as its not a privately owned land. in theory what legal measures could I be arrested for in only primitive camping without creating a fire, leaving trash behind, having any illegal weapon on you, not hunting or fishing. what legal measure could be taken against me. I only ask because I cannot find information on the subject.

If you are on even public land where camping is not allowed or you don't follow whatever process they have for checking in, you could be charged with trespassing. I doubt it would be more than a fine.

You can go to jail for camping on public land, not SPECIFICALLY designated for camping. You can't go to jail for primitive camping on PRIVATE land with the permission of the land owner.

bet you'll find that permits are required and that you apply at some office to get them

primitive camping is only allowed in designated wilderness areas. If you are caught trespassing, you can't prove that you didn't have intentions of making a fire etc. You will be charged as such.
