How well does the video capability of a Hasselblad H6D-100C compare to a good dedicated video camera?
I inherited the Hasselblad a few months back and I finally learned how to use it. It is a bit bulky but it takes absolutely beautiful photographs. Now I would like to be able to take videos. The Hasselblad can do this in ultra HD. Is the video capability of the Hasselblad as good as it's still photo capability? Or, should I consider buying a dedicated video camera?

It is not so much the quality of the video image files that you need to think about - that is usually pretty good theses days no matter what your source, and indeed is excellent in the Blad.
The main matter is the general "camerawork" aspect for shooting videos, and that is different from shooting still pictures. I not that people shooting video with an upmarket DSLR tend to have lots of gismos attached to the camera to turn it into a practical camera for video work, and indeed my own experience tends to point towards buying a good camcorder as the best vehicle for shooting videos.
Look at any TV news report in which there is a crowd of cameramen around a public figure speaking about an important matter. All the people shooting "movie" footage are using upmarket camcorders - that must tell us something.

Why not try it in video? I am sure it is excellent. It may fill the memory cards quickly due to file size. Are you set up for editing?
