Much more so than germanics - considering the Celtic Hallstatt find took place in Austria. Austrians are by far the oldest of the germanic people, yet there was no sign whatsoever of any germanic people or culture in spite of a very old Celtic presence in the germanic homeland.

Genetic evidence indicates that germans are the cousins or perhaps even the chidren of the much older Celtic bloodline.

    Proof: Hallstatt find:

Irish people are white. The Germans are not the only whites.

    Yes.

All native/ethnic Europeans are considered white. You do NOT have to be Germanic to be white.

In fact, it was the Spanish who first used the term "white" as a race, and they used it in reference to all ethnic Europeans, regardless of being Germanic or not.

"a member of a light-skinned people, especially one of European extraction."

"belonging to or denoting a human group having light-colored skin (chiefly used of peoples of European extraction)"

Ireland is part of Europe, so yes the Irish are white.

If white is 'people of Germanic descent', then are the English not white?
