Would it be too costly to add a second motorcycle?

I have a sport bike which is almost new so there should only be oil changes for a few years. I want to add a Harley Dyna with 37,000 miles. I'd have to pay an extra $65 a month for insurance for the Harley. As far as running costs, I thought it would be a wash because you're riding each bike half as much? Thank you.

'too costly' is a relative term.

Why don't you try a big trail adventurer bike ? THis way you will be able to ride where no street bike can.

Adv bikes are tough and confortable and versatile and last forever. Very low cost maintenance.

"so there should only be oil changes for a few years"...

Sure, if you hardly ever ride it. For almost everyone else, they'd be going through at least the first two services.
