How do I get portable gas from a gas station lol?
I know this is a dumb question but if my car is stuck in the middle of the road or if I need gas for my lawn mower is there a certain area to get those portable gas cans from gas stations?

If a gas station offers any for sale it'll be in the store with a nice juicy price tag, ask the cashier.
You can also buy one before you need it at most any hardware store.

They don't loan them out. You have to have your own. (available in any department store automotive, or garden section, many gas stations/convenience store and auto parts stores.) They sell them empty and you go to the gas station and fill them just like you would a car. Be advised that you must have one designated as usable for your fuel. You can't simply carry any container in and put gas into it as that is against the law in most places. What size you need depends on how much weight you can carry (gasoline weighs more than 6 pounds per gallon) and how much space you have in the trunk to store it empty. (Only a fool carries a filled gas can in their car "in case of emergency".

I don't know of any that loans out gas cans. They'd rather sell them to make more money. Carry an empty gas can so that you'll have something to use for emergencies.

If I remember correctly about 3 days after gasoline was invented, Mr. Cann invented the gas can. It was a container that allowed you to carry more gasoline that just cupping your hands together. They were pretty popular and still are sold in gas stations, hardware stores, and Walmart. You can even get them online.
