Is 3G sometimes better than 4G?
Does it use more data, more battery etc.
I'm not looking for what's overall better, though those answers are allowed.
I'm asking because my phone seems to suck up battery like crazy here in denmark with 4G, while in Greece with 3G, it doesn't seem to be that much of a problem.
Or that might be because in Greece I have to use my 3G sparingly

4G is a lot faster performance wise n more improved signal then 3G. Its what all phones are going too. 3G is thing of the past now unless your using older phones. 4G uses little more data n battery then 3G but not a huge difference is noticed. 4G is the better way to go!!!

In most cases 4G should be better. It has higher data speeds, and the signals should propagate further. However the 4G rollout is still not complete so in many remote place you still only have 3G signals.
As for the amount of data, 4G is the transmission route, so whether you are using 3G or 4G the actual amount of data should be the same, it's just on 4G you get the info quicker!

4G is an enhanced signal. It's not just data, it's everything. The 3G signal exists for people who still use flip phones and that sort of thing... I mean I guess 3G has its place, but to call it better than 4G is not accurate.
