I was absent when my class learnt about the sine and cosine rule

I've been told how it works

(sine rule is sinA/a=sinB/b and so on etc and cosine rule is a²=b²+c²-bcsinA)

I also know pythagoras and the SOH CAH TOA thing

However, I think I'm missing something, because now I'm stuck on my homework

I am given two angles (let's call them B and C) and the line connecting them (let's call it a)

I'm meant to find the height between c and the line a which I'm going to do with pythagoras, but for that I need the length of side b or c.

Please help

PS. I am naming these angles and sides not based on Pythagoras, but by cosine and sine rule. Therefore side C might not be the hypotenuse

About a month ago, I was studying the Tempest for English, and my class had to distinguish whether Prospero (protagonist) was using white or black magic, and why he (spoiler alert) gave it up.

I already know that black magic is given by the devil after he tricks a person into selling their soul. However, I m not so sure about where white magic comes from, and if there s really a boundary between the two.

By which I mean what I am now. I generally classify as an atheist or pastafarian to save time. However, I believe that there is probably something up there that created the universe and possibly us.

Is this atheism, and if not, what is this religion called?

Also, just an explanation to why I classify as pastafarian, but this isn't relevant to the question.

The FSM (flying spaghetti monster) was made to criticise our current understanding of a deity. It's imperfect, it made a flawed world, we go to stripper heaven or stripper hell when we die. It's also meant to seem ridiculous, and show that if a god has human form, why can't it just be a bunch of flying spaghetti and meatballs? I doubt that any pastafarian actually believes in the FSM, they believe in what I wrote above

A more realistic situation would be something like the plot in Roald Dahl's Matilda. (SPOILERS: evil aunt raises Ms. Honey and traumatizes her. Then she asks Ms. Honey to sign a contract that makes her pay for auntie raising the child)

Is the child legally obliged to pay?

In the second example there is a contract involved, does that make a difference, and is the child legally obliged to sign?

By this I mean:

1. A criminal robs a house

2. There isn't enough evidence

3. They find more evidence that wasn't found before

Can they be tried again?

Also as a bonus answer, what if the "criminal" is fined/put in prison but then there is found evidence that the "criminal" was framed?

I like listening to music when I'm doing things. When I play Minecraft, and I suddenly find myself in a large world, modpack or LAN server, once in a while it's as if my Micro SD card has popped out of it's adaptor. I know that it isn't a physical case of having a bad adaptor, because when I pause my game and check my SD, my Computer gives me the notification that I have an SD card in my computer. I've tried removing everything around it that could affect it. Usually this wouldn't concern me too much, but my micro SD has all my music on it, and when it pops out groove stops working, and I have to start the song again. A bit annoying when it's only 1 minute's time in between.

Srsly, you can only get decent olives in Greece

So since March 24, I've been eating olive leaves once in a while. I rather like the strong bitter taste of it. I have different taste preferences, as I'm in the minority that loves pure Italian liquorice. I've also eaten Surströmning and asked for another filet (it tasted like oversalted herring), although I had a bad stomach the same evening.

But say that I got 1$ from my parents a day for doing chores, and I didn't like it. So I magically get money and hire a lawyer to sue my parents for slavery. Of course, the judge would laugh. But why?

I just don't understand why adults can't work for less than a specific amount but children can be forced to nearly slavery by their parents.
