Can an atheist believe that there is a god, but its not one try know?

By which I mean what I am now. I generally classify as an atheist or pastafarian to save time. However, I believe that there is probably something up there that created the universe and possibly us.

Is this atheism, and if not, what is this religion called?

Also, just an explanation to why I classify as pastafarian, but this isn't relevant to the question.

The FSM (flying spaghetti monster) was made to criticise our current understanding of a deity. It's imperfect, it made a flawed world, we go to stripper heaven or stripper hell when we die. It's also meant to seem ridiculous, and show that if a god has human form, why can't it just be a bunch of flying spaghetti and meatballs? I doubt that any pastafarian actually believes in the FSM, they believe in what I wrote above

Update:

I'm not saying I am atheist. I just say that I am to save the time and effort of explaining it to anyone who asks...

You either believe in gods or you don't. Everyone is either a theist, they believe, or an atheist, they don't believe. Agnosticism is not about belief but about knowledge. The agnostic says it is impossible to know that gods exist therefore, whether they do or not is a matter of belief not knowledge. Most atheists and many theists are agnostics.

If you believe "there is probably something up there that created the universe and possibly us" you are a theist, not an atheist. Depending on how involved you think your creator was, you might be a deist which is a form of theist.

What you describe is atheism, I think. You think there may be a God who created you but He isn't worth seeking. Yes, that's atheism.

If you think its probable that a god created the world you're a theist.

No, God created a perfect world. MAN messed it up by going against God's orders as usual.

Atheism is a lack of belief in gods. It's really that simple.

"However, I believe that there is probably something up there that created the universe and possibly us."

Do you believe that something is a god?

Agnosticism sounds like an accurate enough label for what you described.
