Are children legally in debt to their parents?

Say I feed my child caviar every day, and once they turn 18, I notice that it was probably a bad idea, so I want them to pay for me.

A more realistic situation would be something like the plot in Roald Dahl's Matilda. (SPOILERS: evil aunt raises Ms. Honey and traumatizes her. Then she asks Ms. Honey to sign a contract that makes her pay for auntie raising the child)

Is the child legally obliged to pay?

In the second example there is a contract involved, does that make a difference, and is the child legally obliged to sign?

Update:

once they turn 18

Not legally but a debt of nurturing and good parenting is frequently paid back by choice.

The goal of the parent should be to get them out on their own to be self sufficient. They owe you nothing, they didn't ask to be born.

You can not contractually commit another individual to any commitment

A child cannot enter into a legally binding contract.
