What's the payoff for the US after over 25 years of combined war in the middle east and now adding Syria? Are US workers better off?

I wouldnt say 25 years of war (what do you mean combined?). The Gulf War lasted a few weeks. Then Clinton attacked Yugoslavia and is still occupying it. Then Georgie did his utmost stupidity with Afghanistan and Iraq which has been going on for 15 years. Syria is not being invaded, Trump is not doing more. Wait to see what results with Russian-U.S. meetings about Syria.

Mr. Trump has been sidetracked on purpose I think. If you read the White House website you will see some legislation he has gotten passed.

There is no payoff for most people and we are less safe. The military industrial complex benefits, not workers in general.

Defense contractors strategically put plants in almost every state so they have political leverage.

    Better off? hoho
