Gaining muscle?

So been at my job 2 years and it requires a ton of heavy lifting day in day out but I have hardly even gained any bicep muscle and it's been two bloody years I'm also very skinny and have a fast metabolism. Also I noticed when I tense my biceps I can see I have gained muscle but only when I tense my muscles but I want them to also look like that when I'm not tensing it's just weird how I can only see it when I'm tensing. Also I do not eat enough especially when I'm on my break at 8am I don't have any protein so would that help aswell, let me know guys

You should eat protein rich foods and eat more in general. And muscles need rest too, the actual muscle building occurs when you're taking a day or two's rest after a workout or a few. They don't build while you're working "day in day out" because you're not giving them time to build properly. .

In order to gain muscle mass (size) you need to eat a big excess of calories.

No, protein wouldn't help with building muscle (sarcasm).
