    V - v = pir^2H - pi r^2 h

    Factor

    V - v = pi r^2( H - h)

    V - v = 3.141582... 9^2 ( 12 - 8)

    V - v = 3.141592...81(4)

    V-v = 1017.876 cu. ft.

    V1 = π x 9² x 8 ft³

    V1 = 648 π ft³

    V2 = π x 9² x 12 ft³

    V2 = 972 π ft³

    V to be added = 324 π ft³ = 1018 ft³
