Stack this one incident up against the at least weekly incidents of some unarmed black man being shot by some cop who claims to have felt "threatened" by the scary black man. Remember that such incidents - and much, much worse - go back decades, or centuries. Then, ask yourself "Where was BLM in 1820? In 1840? In 1878? In 1932?" It's a wonder to me that this self-protective protest movement you are obviously so frightened of only emerged in the twenty-first century. And you call liberals snowflakes! Black Lives Matter is about the institutinalized racism prevalent in our country's law enforcement agencies and about society as awhole that condones the belief that a black person's life is less valuable than a white person.

Black Lives Matter doesn't have a beef with the Steve Stevens incident because the justice system fully intends to charge him with murder and send him to jail.
