As for "Jehovah," it isn't even a word, much less the name of God. "Jehovah" is what you get when you add the vowel points for "Adonai" over the consonants for YHVH, a mnemonic that medieval Jewish scribes used to remind readers to substitute the word Adonai for the divine name during public readings.

That makes no sense.
