I am wearing nude/tan pantyhose with this dress....should I wear the pumps or the sandals (the hose are sheer toe so sandals are okay).?

I ended up returning my first leopard dress from a couple of months ago and just got this one yesterday as it fits much better.

Also, I am going out with some gf s next Sunday for drinks& dinner and was planning on wearing this...is the dress too much for a Sunday (should I wait and wear it on a Friday or Saturday?) Thank you!!

The pumps are much sexier and classier than the sandals. The sandals would be way sexier if they didn't have the straps connecting the toe strap with the ankle strap. As a general rule, stay away from anything that has that gladiator sandal look. Thin ankle straps are classy (and sexy). Wider ankle straps are totally b o n e r inducing and scream f-me more than thinner ankle straps. As for sheer toe vs. reinforced toe, I've always found reinforced toe sexier, especially on black pantyhose, but since all pantyhose are sexy as hell, it's nearly impossible to go wrong with either. I also don't think that wearing reinforced toe pantyhose precludes wearing sandals. Remember, what looks good to men is timeless and different than what women and gay fashion designers think should be the latest fashion rule. And no, you won't look like grandma wearing sandals with reinforced toe pantyhose. Just the fact that you're wearing pantyhose will put you in the top 5% of all women in this country. The fact that you also enjoy wearing pantyhose will put you in the top 1% of women in this country. Lastly, that leopard print dress looks like it's made of very soft, warm material. Therefore, it would be ideally paired with black pantyhose or tights to accentuate the warmth and femininity of the outfit. Try that sometime and see how it works. If you want to dial up the warmth aspect even more, try also some black suede pumps or black suede boots with a chunky heel.

P.S.: Since we're on the topic of footwear, if you have wedges, ballerina flats, or booties in your closet, I'd get rid of those. Whoever invented those atrocities should be sent to prison, and women who wear them tend to have a horrible taste in shoes and you don't want to be one of them. Also, remember that wearing sandal heels, with or without pantyhose, will tend to show all your flaws, if your feet have any. If your feet are very wide and/or very long, don't have a nice arch, or you have boxy toes, these flaws will be exposed and amplified by sandals. Any one of those is a deal breaker for sandals, but if you have more than one that's even worse. If your feet have any of these flaws, stick with the classic pump (try also some that are just a touch less pointy) at all times and you'll always look great.

I'd wear the pumps since they blend in well with the dress.

If the hose are sheer toe wearing open toe shoes will be fine, whatever you decide, that is what sheer toe pantyhose are for, is for wearing with open toed shoes, or sandals.

Pumps if you will be wearing pantyhose. Unless you want to look like someone's grandmother anyway. Dress would probably be more appropriate for a Friday or Saturday, but it is only a dress. Wear it if you like when you like.
