First of all the quality if your videos are poorly made in the YouTube industry in this day and age you could have a career from YouTube overnight. All you need is an original idea that nobody does don't copy people with their shitty vlogs and gaming videos there's already enough of them . Example of originality you ask? Tgf they are mental they blew because if their originality cimpared to others. Another would be that recently this guy was in China and built his own iPhone 6s and over night his video got 2 million views and was on the viral list. In my opinion it's pretty easy to come up with an original idea you just need the right equipment and a personality that the audience like to see that's different rather than the norm like zoella and people like that there's already enough of them gamers as well there's many more YouTube topics which have not been taken up. I suggest doing something crazy for that first video if you want recognition.

YouTube isn't designed to give smaller channels a chance anymore. There are millions of channels trying to make it, its possible to grow and gain subs and views but its very unlikely unless you produce unique content that people want to see
