conceptual science/ fun ideas?

would it be possible in a sci-fi (even as a far fetched concept) for a light particle to somehow be fused with a solid atom, like carbon or something, to create a holographic object with substance, i.e a table that can hold dishes, then disappear like a light being turned off? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Maddy, a photon (a light particle) would simply increase the speed or mass of an atom. However, the mass increase would so infinitely small as to be virtually unmeasurable.
