I am pouring a 4 x 8 x 3 inch cement slab. 1 yard.?

A cement truck is bringing it. Close is i can get to the truck is about 40 feet from where is slab is being laid. How do you get the or is there a better way than wheel barrows. I cant afford to have it pumped either ?

Update:

i was thinking just have them pour it into a like a small pool liner and just getting it to the slab asap?

You get it pumped... Wheeling it is ok but truck will have an allotted time for your delivery and you will pay extra if you are too slow. Line up a few people and wheelbarrows and it'll go well.

You either pump it to where you need it or you transport it in wheelbarrows. Those are your choices.

A CUBIC YARD is 27 CUBIC feet (3x3x3). A slab that measures 4 feet by 8 feet by 3 inches only requires 8 cubic feet of concrete. Perhaps it would be easier AND CHEAPER to buy several bags of ready mix and rent your own cement mixer for an afternoon.
