He jokingly asked me to marry him..?

I didn't think much about it but my mom said guys never jokingly do that. He's just testing me.. now it's obviously worrying me. Should I just take it as a joke and leave it at that.

"So do you wanna marry me?" Is how he asked

    I don't know why you're "worried". If he asks, answer.

    Tell him I hope you wasn't serious. Say when you are proposed to, it should come from love, respect and a life time commitment. Always have respect for yourself and don't take offhand comments and actions. You need a real man that will treat you like a real woman.

    Sometimes guys do that. He was probably just basically saying he's really into you.
