Military veterans: what is the one crazy thing you did right after you got out of the service?

I mean something you always wanted to do when you were serving but wasn't allowed. (If you are still active what do you plan on doing when you get out)

For instance when I got out, the next day I got a French Manicure and had long fingernails. Then a few months later I got my nose pierced. I still like the nose ring, but my nails are short again. I didn't like keeping up with the manicures.

    Grew a beard and wore mismatched socks to work

    That's about all my anxiety levels would allow for a while

    I was able to take a six week vacation and ride my bicycle cross country, from Irvine to Boston.

    Grew a goatee!!

    I did the beard thing also.
