Do all parametric conics move counterclockwise?

We learned in math class today about parametric equations and I was wondering if the orientation of the curve is always counterclockwise

    The curve itself does not move at all, of course. Parametric equations may be viewed as describing the motion of a point that traces the curve as a variable parameter is increasing. How it moves along the curve depends on the equations. Here are two pairs of parametric equations describing the same ellipse. The trace point moves counterclockwise on the first, clockwise on the second.

    x = 2cos(t)

    y = 5sin(t)

    x = 2cos(t)

    y = -5sin(t)
