Why doesn t god answer payers?
Even the simplest of prayers. I pray to be healthy. I have several health problems. Some are genetic, some of unknown origin. I ve been a member of the church my whole life. But it seems my prayer phone has been disconnected because he doesn t hear me. Why?
As a member of the church I've done it all. From catechism to confession, repent and tithe. Everything the church expects. Nothing seems to matter.

In two ways the God of the Bible hears our prayers...
1) you are a sinner and have come to ask for God's forgiveness because of what Jesus has done.
2) you are already born again, and have no un-confessed sin in your life, then you may come boldly to the throne of God.
Some know about Jesus from church, but they don't know Jesus.
If you do not yet know God, do this just as you are, without pretense, in truth and He will help.
Because....
Rom 3:23
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
And...
Rom 6:23
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Rom 5:8
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
To receive God's free gift....
Rom 10:9-11
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
Pray this...
Father, I accept your gift of forgiveness for all my sins because of what Jesus has done for me.
Help me in my time of need and show me the way I should go, and to turn away from my sins and trust
in you. I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen
You are no longer a slave to fear, but are a child of God. Colossians 1:13
13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

James 4:1-3 provides your answer. God does not promise a blissful, health and wealthy life. But He does judge the way we live because of our adversarial situations.

Paul was indeed a faithful believer in God and disciple of Jesus and he was not cured of his poor health. He did however come to understand that in the current time through his weakness God is made great and that a time would come when all people's health would be made whole.
Perhaps your focus of your prayers have been on the wrong thing. When Jesus' disciples ask to be taught to pray and Jesus gave what is commonly called the Lord's Prayer, where in that prayer did Jesus put personal healing? ....
Jesus put put addressing, praising and honoring God first, second was to pray for the Kingdom in come so God's will could be done on earth as it is done in heaven. Then we could prayer for our daily needs, we as individuals have to take note here that our needs and our wants are not necessarily the same thing and one persons needs are not another but some needs are basic. Fourth we should pray for forgiveness as well as being able to forgive others. We should note that in the eyes of God these two things are connected. Next we need to pray that we are not over taken by temptation to do wrong wich are the works of the Evil One.

Are you following God's instructions on what to eat and what to avoid eating? He gave His conditional promise of good health to those who follow His instructions. Exodus 15:26 KJV And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
Sometimes, people are ignoring His instructions and eating toxins that He gave instructions to avoid. So, He may heal them, but if they keep eating toxins, they get sick again.
This world is currently very polluted and it is difficult to avoid eating or breathing toxins even if a person is following God's instructions.
When we ask God for healing, He gave instructions in James 5 to anoint with the oil of our people which is olive oil you have asked God to bless for anointing oil in Jesus' Name. It is not the oil that heals, but it is following His instructions that He responds to since He made the promise in Exodus 15.
Sometimes we may pray for God's intervention in our lives and it is for purely selfish reasons and we fully intend to go right back to ignoring Him. He will not respond and that will be out of tough love for us to learn why the path we may be on is not a good one. James 4:3 KJV Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. When we ask God for His intervention in our lives, He will respond when it is also in accordance with His will which is listed in 2 Peter 3:9 KJV.

Even though you have gone to church your whole life, have you ever repented?
