Check engen light?

94 mercury villager is seldom driven, so the light is on and no one has a ODB 1

reader. Without a reader, it decodes "fuel injector" Is there a less expensive way, without replacing injectors, to fix this thing?

Update:

Seldom driven 94 mercury villager has check engine illuminated. The best we can tell without an OBD ! reader is "fuel injector". Is there a better, less expensive solution besides replacing injectors?

Update 2:

I runs a little rough at idle, otherwise good

If you have a check engine light, check your engine

There is mo such thing as an OBD1 reader. OBD1 is the original on-board diagnostic system. It works by blinking the check engine light in a way much like morse code. You can look up what the issue is based on that, but there are no readers that you can plug in like what OBD2 offers.

if it runs good, get a tiny drill bit and drill down into that light until it goes out ..
