Recommended oil for 1987 Porsche 911 please.?
Thanks for advice Re. "Check the owners manual"......I know this may sound obvious but this car is 30 yrs old. Modern synthetic oils have come on a long way in this time. So...Go fully synthetic ? Which grade (Uk). Semi ?
Or stick with the old 'Dinosour oil' as (yes) recommended back in 1987.

Inquire at the Service Dept at an official Porsche Dealership and follow their advice. There are 2 schools of thought regarding synthetics. Some say stick with conventional oils. I do NOT use synthetic in my Euro 1985 BMW M6. However, my 2014 Carrera S REQUIRES synthetic.
