How does Enterprise car's rental works?

I'm seeing a deal for $270 for a week of rental. I am thinking of driving from NY to FL. Will there be any issues because I am concern if theres a borderline of which I cannot cross. Also, will there be any extra fees or will they charge you based on the mileage?

The only way to know for sure is you have to talk to the rental agency that you plan on renting the car from.In my experience with that company if you rent a car for a wkend you may or may not get unlimited mileage options. You would have to notify the company ahead of signing the rental contract that you plan on leaving the state. Usually the type of car insurance coverage is directly affected by what State/States you intend on driving the rental car in.In many cases if the driver/renter of the rental car hold a valids auto insurance plan they can use their own auto insurance to cover the rental car's auto insurance but you'd still should contact your own insurance company about your out of State driving traveling plans. One issue you could run into is you only have a basic Liability car insurance coverage you may have to update your coverage to full coverage in order to meet the rental agencies policies according to their renter guidelines.Otherwise it maybe cheaper to pay the rental agency whatever they charge for the auto insurance coverage.

If you have a quote say for 270 bucks per wk it's quite possible that doesn't include the insurance or mileage fees or whatever taxes might be added.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way be careful to get all what you want out of the rental agency agreement in writing bec I've seen one agent promise certain discounts and that same agent quit working for that company and later when the renter's agreement was up the renter got stuck with paying a bunch of extra fees etc.

That $270 is usually local rental and often includes some type of mileage stipulation.

Why are you asking a world of total strangers when the branch of Enterprise you're considering renting from can give you the exact information you're after?

Different branches of the same rental agency can also have different rules. In general, airport branches offer the greatest flexibility.

If your journey will be one-way then if Enterprise allow you to do that (not all branches will) there will be a hefty fee to get the car returned to their office.

In short, ask Enterprise. Those questions are their daily bread and butter.

Enterprise may not rent for that kind of drive. When I lived in Georgia, Enterprise did not allow it's rental go to North Carolina.
