What can we do about micro plastics?

That sort of thing, there was a face book article saying they were in clothing and got in the water supply via washing, and everywhere from there! Am I suppose to only buy wool and cotton clothing from now on?

    Do you mean the photodegraded plastic that winds up in the upper layers of the ocean?

    Not much can be done with what's already there. We need to stop the plastic from being washed into the ocean in the first place. Also, the middle of the oceans is ungoverned. Ships will dump their trash into the ocean knowing they won't get caught or prosecuted.

    We need to be better stewards. We need to be careful not to drop plastic into streams or the street or leave it at the beach.
